Start the TFTP server automatically when Windows starts

Overview

This article describes how to start the TFTP server automatically when Microsoft Windows is started.

Environment

Engineer's Toolset 9 and later

Steps

  1. From the Start menu, click Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
  2. Locate and click SolarWinds TFTP Server.
  3. From the Action menu, click Properties.
  4. From the Startup type list, click Automatic.
  5. Click OK.
    The TFTP Server is now configured to start a automatically when Windows starts.

Note: In Engineer's Toolset versions before version 9, TFTP server was a standalone application. There is no way to automatically start or stop the old versions of TFTP
