Overview

This article provides brief information on  Desktop Engineer's Toolset monitoring support limitations. Some users need to monitor unique data on their network devices using Engineer's Toolset.

Environment

All Engineer's ToolSet Desktop versions

Detail

The Engineers Toolset monitors a standard set of features, it is not possible to add OIDs to monitor unique features like Printer ink level or UPS battery state. In order to do this will require the Orion NPM product.

The NPM of the Toolset can monitor device up/down status as well interface traffic data and disk usage.
