Detail

Get BRIDGE (MAC to Port) information: 

  • Cisco: dot1dTpFdbTable (1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3)
  • Non-Cisco: dot1qTpFdbTable (1.3.6.1.2.1.17.7.1.2.2)

 

Get Interface information:

  • ifTable: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2

 

Link the port indexes with the Interface indexes:

  • dot1dBaseportTable: 1.3.6.1.2.1.17.1.4

 

Get ARP (MAC to IP) table

  • ipNetToMediaEntry: 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.22
  • ipNetToPhysicalTable: 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.35

 

Link the IP addresses to the Ports by cross-referrencing the MACs between the Bridge information and the ARP information.
