This article provides brief information on the Engineer's Toolset MDAC error when launching IPAM and IP network Browser. Found in Windows 7.0 - 7.1 SP1.

 

Environment

  • All ETS versions
  • Windows 7.0-7.1 SP1

Detail

The files MDAC, 2.8 are deemed incompatible for Windows 7.0 - 7.1 SP1. Reinstalling ETS corrects the error, but the files MDAC uses are not compatible with that OS version and service pack.
