Installing DPA on Windows includes running VBScript (.vbs) files. If VBScript is disabled in your environment, the DPA installation may not complete successfully.
For example, you may receive the following error:
Error: 2738.Could not access VBScript run time for Custom action
To enable VBScript, enter the following commands at a command prompt:
cscript.exe //H:WScript regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\vbscript.dll
vbscript.dll file is successfully registered, run the DPA installation again. If you receive the following error:
There is no script engine for file extension .vbs
You must restore the .vbs file associations. You can do this by downloading the appropriate Registry file:
