SolarWinds recommends the following upgrade paths:

 

If you're upgrading from versions prior to 9.2 , you may need to upgrade your heap memory after the upgrade. See link for heap sizing: Increase Heap Memory

SolarWinds DPA 9.0 and later 9.0 → DPA 10.1.317 → DPA 11.x
Confio Ignite 8.3 and later 8.3 → DPA 10.1.317 → DPA 11.x
Confio Ignite 8.1.x 8.1 → 8.3 → DPA 10.1.317 → DPA11.x
