Overview

Uninstall DPA on Windows.

Steps

  1. For DPA 9.0 and later, deactivate your DPA licenses by following this KB article.
  2. navigate to add remove programs and click to uninstall or you can click start and under Solarwinds Database Performance Analyzer there is an icon for "uninstall DPA" 
  3. Make sure the Ignite PI Server service was removed. The service may need to be removed manually.
  4. To remove the service manually, run the following batch file:

    C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\DPA\removeWindowsService

  5. After the service is removed, you can delete the C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\DPA\ directory.
