Turn off HTTP traffic in DPA (Port 8123)

Overview

This article describes how to set DPA to only use traffic over HTTPS (8124 by default).

Environment

All DPA versions

Steps

  1. Go to <DPAInstallDirectory>\iwc\tomcat\conf\.
  2. Create a backup of the server.xml file.
  3. Comment out the HTTP connector section:

                   compressionMinSize="2048" compressableMimeType="text/html,text/xml,text/csv,text/css,text/javascript"

  4. Save the file.
  5. Restart the Ignite PI service.
