Offline Activation of gen3+ keys:

  1. From the customer portal (license management), below the key you want to activate, click on "Manually Register License".
  2. Click on Generate Activation key in the pop-up.
  3. This will bring you to a screen where you will have to fill in information.  There is also a field for a machine ID.  To obtain this, go to your DPA UI (browser), under License Management -> License Manager, select “Enter Activation Key” button.
  4. Choose "Offline Activation" and grab the machine ID for the type of license you are wanting to activate (make sure you get the entire string).  Copy and paste that string into the "Unique Machine ID" field in manual activation page on customer portal.
  5. Enter the amount of licenses you want to activate (you can do partial or put in the full amount that key is good for).
  6. When you click on generate license file, that will email the license file to the person’s email entered in the detail info.  There will also be a download link you can use to retrieve that file.
  7. Save that file off locally to where you have the DPA UI open.
  8. In the same license manager screen within DPA where it’s showing the machine IDs, at the bottom you will see an option to add a "License Key File".  Browse to the location where you saved that file and activate it.
