WebinarUpcoming Webinar: Know What’s Changed – with NEW Server Configuration Monitor

Change management in IT is critical. But, even with a good change management process, changes are too often not correctly tracked, if at all. The configuration of your servers and applications is a key factor in their performance, availability, and security. Many incidents can be tracked back to an authorized (and sometimes unauthorized) configuration change, whether to a system file, configuration file, or Windows® Registry entry. Join SolarWinds VP of product management Brandon Shopp to discover how the new SolarWinds® Server Configuration Monitor is designed to help you.

If the DPA interface responds slowly, follow these steps to send SolarWinds more information for troubleshooting.

  1. Clear the chart cache by clicking Options > Support > Clear Chart Cache.
  2. In the address bar, use the setLogger method to enable debugging. After /iwc type the following:

    /setLogger.iwc?component=charts&level=debug

    For example:

    http://host:port/iwc/setLogger.iwc?component=charts&level=debug

  3. Return to the DPA interface and click the SQL, Waits, and other tabs and areas that are slow.
  4. Disable debugging in the address bar. After the /iwc type the following:

    /setLogger.iwc?component=charts&level=info

    For example:

    http://host:port/iwc/setLogger.iwc?component=charts&level=debug

  5. Click Options > Support.
  6. Under Downloads, click Download All Log Files (Zipped).
  7. Save and attach the .zip file to a support ticket.
