Attempting to drill in to a SQL statement returns the error DPA Unable to generate the chart

Overview

When you register a database instance for monitoring and then you attempt to drill in to a SQL statement within the first 10 minutes of monitoring, DPA returns the following error: 

DPA Unable to generate the chart: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0

Environment

  • DPA 11.0

Note: DPA 11.0.387 and later versions display an informational message instead of an error message. 

Cause 

DPA requires at least 10 minutes of data before you can drill in for details. 

Resolution

Wait ten minutes before drilling in to view details.
