DPA Trend View in Orion or DPA UI not populated

Overview

The DPA trend view in the DPA UI or on the Orion UI isn't populated after installing DPA. 

After installation and successful registration of a monitored database instance, in can take up to 48 hours before DPA will display trend data in either the DPA or Orion UI.

Environment

  • DPA, all versions
  • Orion, all versions

Detail

After installing DPA, the trend view isn't populated. 

DPA takes trend data accumulated over 48 hours and summaries the data before displaying it. After 48 hours, if data is trending in the "Up" direction, it resembles this:

If after 48 hours the summarized data is trending down, you'll need to click on the "Trending Down" button to display results.
