DPA Idle Blocker Last Activity Lookback Timeframe

Overview

When using DPA to troubleshoot locking and blocking issues, you may have a need to extend the lookback window to further than 48 hours (default) to look for last known activity for a given session. This article will help you adjust that window to meet your needs.

Environment

  • DPA version 10.2 +

Steps

When logged into DPA as an admin, perform the following steps:

  1. Click the Options link at the top of the page.
  2. Choose the Administration tab.
  3. Click Advanced Options.
  4. One the page that takes you to, if you look down the list of options, you will see IDLE_BLOCKER_ACTIVITY_SEARCH_LIMIT (they are listed alphabetically). Click this option.

 

 

5.  Adjust the value in hours required for your environment.
