Change the IP address of a DPA server (Windows)

Overview

This article provides information on how to change the IP address of the server where DPA is installed.

Environment

All DPA versions

Steps

  1. Access your DPA server through your Remote Desktop.
  2. Go to Start > Run > services.msc.
  3. Stop the "Ignite PI Server" service.
  4. Do the IP address change on the server.
  5. Start the "Ignite PI Server" Service.

Notes:

  • If your DPA Repository resides on the same server then you will need to update the repo.properties file. You can find the steps in the following articles:
    Oracle - Step 5
    Microsoft SQL - Step 14
  • Firewalls, ACLs, and Re-directs in place need to be updated as well to the new IP address.
