When importing host lists, DameWare displays no hosts to import

When you attempt to import hosts, DameWare does not import the host and displays a message informing you that there are no hosts to import.


  • DameWare Remote Support  Version 11.0
  • DameWare Mini Remote Control Version 11.0


This is usually because you previously imported hosts into DameWare. When you import hosts from a file, duplicate entries can occur. When you import hosts from Active Directory, duplicate entries are rejected.


To import from Active Directory, remove the hosts you imported from a file, and then import the hosts from AD.
