Overview

You are unable to connect to a remote computer.

Environment

All DameWare Mini Remote Control versions

Resolution

Verify that the technician have sufficient privileges on the remote compute. 

Note: Why do you need permission to connect to a remote machine using the DameWare Mini Remote Control program?

This depends on your rights within the remote O/S (Admin vs. Non-Admin) and the Permission Required settings. This is the behavior when you connect to a remote machine and the "Permission Required" setting is enabled on the Additional Settings tab within the MRC client agent service settings.  This applies to Admins and Non-Admins. Also, you connect to a remote machine and the "Permission Required for these Account Types" setting is enabled on the Access tab within the MRC client agent service settings.  This setting applies to Non-Admins.
