RDP settings dont apply MRC version 11

Overview

This article describes the issue in MRC version 11 where no devices are set on RDP. 

Environment

Dameware Mini Remote Controller version 11

Detail

This issue is present in MRC version 11 wherein changes to RDP are not stored. This has been resolved in MRC version 12. 

You can check its current settings by following the procedure below:

  1. Open MRC.
  2. Close connect window.
  3. Click View > default host properties > RDP. 
  4. Select Use remote desktop and click OK.
  5. Click one or apply all after the list of devices appears. 
  6. Open connect window.
  7. Check devices.

By checking the devices, they appear to be showing Use MRC viewer but none are set on RDP.
