DameWare Mini Remote Control (MRC) version 9.0 starts up slowly.

This has been addressed in HotFix 1 for MRC 9.0.

  1. Log in to the SolarWinds Customer Portal.
  2. Go to License Management > Hot Fixes.
  3. Download HotFix 1 or later.
  4. Extract all of the files in the archive.
  5. Copy the files from the appropriate folder (x64 or x86) and replace the following files in the MRC 9.0 installation folder:
    • DWRCC.exe
    • DWRCD.dll
      Note: The default location is C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\DameWare Mini Remote Control 9.0\
  6. Run the application.
