When connecting to a computer with Mini Remote Control, the screen of the target computer appears white

Overview

When a technician connects to a target computer, the screen of the target computer appears empty or white.

Environment

This issue occurs on Windows 7 and Windows 10 computers.

Cause

This issue occurs because resolution on the display of the target computer is too high.

Resolution

  1. Open Mini Remote Control.
  2. Connect to the target computer.

        After the connection is made, the target computer's screen appears blank.

  1. On the technician's computer, click the smart sizing icon.
