Submit a DameWare feature request

This article describes how to submit a feature request for DameWare.


  • All DameWare versions


You can submit a feature request for DameWare on the SolarWinds THWACK community website. Using THWACK, you can:

  • Locate existing DameWare feature requests and their current status
  • Review what we are working on for all SolarWinds products
  • Review the development process for creating new product features

Implementing new DameWare features 

All THWACK product forums are monitored by our product managers. This allows all SolarWinds customers to voice their opinions about a feature and decide if the feature is useful.


See Ideation Process and FAQs for details about submitting your product feature requests and ideas. 


Be aware that the product manager decides whether to implement a few feature in an upcoming or future release. If your request is implemented into the product, Customer Support will not notify you regarding the release date. All new features are listed in the DameWare Release Notes.

Submitting a DameWare feature request in THWACK 

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log in to the SolarWinds THWACK website.
  3. Click the Product Forums drop-down menu and select DameWare.
  4. In the right column, click Submit a Feature Request.
  5. Complete the online form. Be sure to include your case number (if applicable).

  6. Click Publish.

Repeat step 3 through step 6 to submit a feature request for any additional SolarWinds product.
