How to enable the prompt for existing host entry updates

Overview

This article describes how to enable the prompt when you update existing host entries in SolarWinds DameWare Remote Control. 

Environment

  • DameWare Remote Control

Steps

  1. Log in to DameWare Mini Remote Control. 
  2. Click View and select Local Global Settings.
  3. Under General Options, enable Prompt for Update Existing Host Entries.
  4. Click OK.
