Export specific items in Dameware

Overview

This article describes how you can export certain items in Dameware.

Environment

All versions of DameWare Exporter

Steps

The example cited is for services only:

  1. Run the Exporter.
  2. Uncheck everything in the Task list pane.
  3. Highlight the standard properties. Services must have a check.
  4. While standard properties is checked, fill out the details in the task properties:
    1. Output - Directory, Single output file (True), Format (CSV)
    2. Default Credentials (Domain Administrator or Local administrator account of target machines)
  5. Run the Export and filter the CSV in excel for the machines that have the DWRCS service.
