Overview

This article describes how to create an alias for a computer name.

Environment

Dameware 12.0.3 and later

Steps

  1. Open Dameware Mini Remote Control.
  2. Enter the hostname in the Host Name / IP Address field.
  3. Click Save.
  4. On the right pane, click on the drop-down arrow and then select Name [Alias].
