Overview

This article provides information about the DameWare Mobile Client for iOS when the virtual keyboard sends multiple keystrokes per single-tap when using the virtual keyboard. Windows 2012 handles input from virtual keyboards differently than other versions of Windows. Instead of recording a tap as a press of a key, Windows 2012 uses the length of time your finger is pressed on a key, which results in multiple keystrokes from a single tap.

Environment

  • DameWare Remote Support - Version(s) Version 10.0
  • DameWare Mini Remote Control - Version(s) Version 10.0

Detail

This is a known issue with Windows 2012 and the virtual keyboard.
