Enable non-administrators to connect to a remote machine

This article describes how to provide access to non-administrator MRC users to enable keyboard and mouse control on a remote target machine.


All DMRC versions


  1. Right-click the systray icon and click Settings.
  2. In the DWMRC Properties dialog box, go to the Access tab.
  3. Clear Allow only administrators to connect, Permission required for these account types, Disconnect if at the Logon Desktop and View Only for these account types, and click OK.
  4. If you want to allow a group of users access, select Must be member of one of the following group(s).
