Start Mini Remote Control from Web Help Desk

You can create a Mini Remote Control session from Web Help Desk from either a ticket or an asset.

When saving DameWare information to WHD, you must have a ticket number or create a new ticket so that the information can be saved to WHD.

To start Mini Remote Control from a ticket:

  1. Open a Web Help Desk ticket.

  2. Navigate to Asset Info > Ticket Asset.

  3. Click the DameWare integration button File:Success_Center/New_Articles/DameWareServerMT/0C0/020/whd_integration_icon.png.

After you close the session, you can choose to save the session details, chat logs, or screenshots to the WHD ticket.

To start Mini Remote Control from an asset:

  1. Search for the asset.

  2. Click the DameWare integration button File:Success_Center/New_Articles/DameWareServerMT/0C0/020/whd_integration_icon.png.

    File:Success_Center/New_Articles/DameWareServerMT/0C0/020/intg_whd_asset_search.png

You can also open Mini Remote Control from within the asset.

When you close the session, you are prompted for your WHD credentials (see Connect to Web Help Desk for more information) and then to either select a ticket or to create a ticket to upload the DameWare information to.
