To approve a remote host, select the remote host from the list and then click Approve on the ribbon. The remote host becomes visible in the Remote Host List in the DameWare Mini Remote Control console.

To block a remote host, select the remote host from the list and then click Block on the ribbon. The remote host will not be able to establish connection.

To remove a remote host, select the remote host from the list and then click Delete on the ribbon. Once you remove a remote host, you will not be able to restore the connection using the DameWare Administration console. To restore deleted connections, see Configure blocked or inactive connections.

Notes:

  • After changing the status, click Refresh to update the remote host information.
  • After approving a remote host, wait for five seconds to five minutes for the remote host to connect to the DameWare Proxy.
