The Remote Hosts list in the DameWare Administration Console contains the list of remote hosts that are deployed and are connected to the DameWare Proxy.

The remote host may have any of the following status:

  • Approved: Remote host is ready for use. In the DameWare Mini Remote Control console, approved hosts are visible in the Remote Host List if they are connected to the Internet Proxy. Remote hosts with Approved status may be online or offline, depending on whether the remote host is reachable by the Internet Proxy.

  • Pending: Remote host is waiting for approval from administrator before it can be used in DameWare Mini Remote Control. In the DameWare Mini Remote Control console, these hosts are not visible in the Remote Host List. Remote hosts with Pending status may be online or offline, depending on whether the remote host is reachable by the Internet Proxy.

  • Blocked: Remote host is offline as Internet Proxy forbids connection for these remote hosts. In the DameWare Mini Remote Control console, these hosts are not visible in the Remote Host List.
