Overview

How to configure client settings so that upon remote connection they will be prompted when a technician tries to remote connect?

When logging into remote sessions, some DameWare Mini Remote Control (MRC) users want the system to default to permission required from end user.

Accept  or reject connection by user.

Environment

  • Mini Remote Control v 10, 11 and 12

Steps

  1. On the Client agent on the remote machine
Dameware MiniRemote Control Properties on the additional settings tab make sure “Permission required” is checked

You can create a new Client agent using “Mini Remote Control Client Agent MSI Builder”
And select these settings in your new build.
You can then redistribute using GPO
