Update email domain on profile access

This article provides the pointers for updating or removing an individual login through the Customer Portal or through Customer Service.


All SolarWinds licenses


  • A contact with Admin access on their IUA has the ability to edit and remove other user profiles via the Company Account Settings in the Customer Portal.
  • An email address on an existing IUA CANNOT be edited.  The profile would need to be removed and a new one added with the correct email address.
  • If the contact has standard access, a request will have to be made with the admin contact or contacting SolarWinds Customer Service to remove or amend the individual login. 
  • Customer Service also has this ability, but we require approval from the Admin before making any changes to an account.  If the update is made by SolarWinds Customer Service the customer will receive a confirmation email.
  • The customer will also receive a notification informing them that their individual login has been removed. See the following sample:
