Link email to different SolarWinds accounts

Overview

This article provides information on linking Customer IDs. Some customers prefer linking Customer IDs instead of merging their accounts into one. 

Refer to Merge two or more accounts into one SolarWinds account for more information on merging accounts.

Steps

Notes:

  • Contacts have the option to link accounts which allow them to associate their individual logins with multiple customer IDs in their Customer Portal. 
  • Once a request is made to link, a notification will be sent to the admin contact to approve linking the account, if there is no admin associated to the second customer ID, the request will be sent to Customer Service for processing.
  • Once the accounts are linked together, the customer is able to move from one customer id to another by clicking on the customer id they wish to review and view licenses through the license management tab.

 

  1. Log in to your Customer Portal account.
  2. Go to User Profile Settings. 
  3. Select your Customer ID and email address from the drop down. 
  4. Click Link Profile to Another SolarWinds ID.
