Edit contact information through the Customer Portal

Overview

This article describes how to edit contact information through the Customer Portal using an admin account.

Environment

All SolarWinds products

Steps

  1. Log in to the SolarWinds Customer Portal using an account with admin permissions.
  2. Select Company Account Settings from the top right corner.
    Note: Only those with admin permissions will see the option for Company Account Settings.

  3. Click on EDIT next to the user profile you wish to amend.





    You can edit the Access Level, Contact Type, First and Last Name and Phone Number.
    The only area you are unable to amend is the email address because the profile is specifically tied to that email address on our database.  You would need to remove the existing profile and recreate.

  4. If you wish to notify the user of the update, you can check the box.
  5. Click on Update to complete.
