This article describes how to remove the Virtualization Manager Tools resource from all managed VM nodes in Orion NPM/IVIM.

NPM 11.5.2

Note: Create a backup of the Orion database and an image snapshot of the Orion server (if using a Virtual machine) before performing this procedure.

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console as an administrator.
  2. Go to Settings > Manage Views.
  3. Select the Virtual Machine Details - Virtualization Summary view and click Edit.
  4. On the Customize Virtual Machine Details page, select Virtualization Manager Tools and click X to remove the resource.
  5. When the Virtualization Manager Tools resource is removed, click Done.

The Virtualization Manager Tools should no longer appear when you click on a VM node.
