Errors occur after removing NCM

Overview

This article describes the issue when you receive the following errors after removing NCM from your environment:

  • Report resource failed to properly initialize
  • Error setting up report cell during rendering 'Custom Table.' 

       Data presenter ncm.text.macaddress not found

Environment

NPM version 11.5.3

Cause 

When editing the report, it has columns showing data polled by NCM and after removing NCM, the reports were not deleted because they share resources with NPM.

 

Resolution

When columns are removed and re-added from the available NPM columns, the report run without a problem.

You might not find all of the columns when NCM was installed because they have different functionalities.
