Add or edit a custom property for a storage object

You cannot change a custom property name.

  1. Go to My Dashboards > Storage Summary and use the All Storage Objects tree resource to navigate to, and click the required object.

    The Details page for the selected object opens.

  2. Scroll to the Custom Properties resource for this object type.

    All custom properties set up for this object are displayed.

  3. Click Edit Custom Property Values.

    The Edit Properties page for the object opens.

    If the Edit Custom Property Values link is not displayed then no custom properties have been created for this object type. See Create a custom property for a storage object type.

  4. Scroll down to the Custom Properties section, and add or edit the values for this property for this object.
  5. Click Submit to return to the Details page.
