You can pause a filter to stop the event message stream so you can inspect a set of event messages without new incoming messages scrolling across the grid. You can pause one filter or all filters in the Console.

Pause one filter

  1. Open the Monitor view.
  2. In the Filters pane, maximize a filter category and select the filter you want to pause.

The event grid changes to display the filter you selected.

  3. Click File:Success_Center/Reusable_content_-_InfoDev/LEMUserGuide_MT/090/0A0/Button-Gear(Gray)_13x11.png and select Pause.

Pause appears next to your paused filter.

To resume, click File:Success_Center/Reusable_content_-_InfoDev/LEMUserGuide_MT/090/0A0/Button-Gear(Gray)_13x11.png and select Resume.
