Shut down the LEM Appliance

Overview

This article provides brief steps to shut down your LEM Appliance. 

Warning: Shutting down your LEM Appliance improperly can lead to a database or a file system corruption.

Environment

All LEM versions

Steps

  1. Launch and connect to your LEM Appliance console.
  2. Enter Advanced Configuration to get a CMC prompt.
    a. In the CMC prompt, enter appliance
    b. Enter shutdown, and then follow the commands to shut down LEM.

 

If you need to restart your LEM Appliance, use the Power On option in your Hypervisor.
