Node can be pinged from CMD on the Orion server but not via Orion.


All NPM versions


  1. Go to Settings > Polling Settings.
  2. In the Network section, make sure that the ICMP Data field is blank,
  3. Click Submit.

Make sure that NPM is operating under the recommended hardware requirements . For more information, see the Orion Server Hardware Requirements in the Orion NPM Administrator Guide. 


Secondary solution:

1. Open database manager

2. Run the query below against the Orion DB:

delete from containermemberstatus


And see if the node's status updates correctly after.
