Filter information for certain devices

Overview

This article provides steps on how to filter information on the NTA Summary page to show specific devices and how to add this filtered view to NTA Menu Bar.

Environment

NTA version 4.x

Steps

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console.
  2. Navigate to NTA Summary tab.
  3. Expand the Flow Navigator tab.
  4. Select the option you want to use as filter.
  5. Select Include and click the dropdown, and select the IP Range.
  6. Click Save Filtered View to Menu Bar.
  7. Enter a Name for this view.
  8. Click OK.


Note: When using IP(s) where range is needed (2 boxes need to be filled out with an IP Address) make sure not to use same IP. 

An example here is Conversations filter which needs 2 IP(s), when you put in the same IP some resources show Data Not Available. This is caused by the fact that there is no Conversations between the same IP.
