Overview

Names starting with a numerical character cannot be assigned to SMTP servers.

Environment

NPM 11.5.2 and earlier

Cause 

The first character must be an alpha character.

Resolution

Verify that the SMTP server name starts with an alpha character. For more information, refer to the DOD Internet Host Table Specification.
