Update Username and Password for Firewall Configuration

Overview

This article describes how to update the credentials used to import a firewall configuration.

All FSM versions

Steps

  1. In the Firewall Inventory highlight the firewall in question.
  2. Right-click and select Update Firewall.
  3. In the Update Firewalls window, find the column for Configuration Sources.
  4. Highlight what's entered there (such as Connect to Device or Import from NCM Repository).
  5. Click the ellipses (...).
  6. Choose the correct import method from the dropdown and select the firewall type.
  7. Update the credentials.
  8. Click Finish.
