This article explains how to properly set a WSUS Automation Server Routing Rule (ASRR).

All Patch Manager versions

WSUS Auto Server Routing Rules only pertain to the WSUS server, not the workstations within the WSUS Computer Groups.

Create an Automation Server Routing Rule (ASRR) for the individual computers to be carried out on a specific server. The WSUS ASRR is specifically only for the WSUS server itself to be carried out on an Auto Server, it does not pertain to the individual workstations/servers within the WSUS groups.

For more information, refer to Install and Configure an Automation Server for WSUS.
