Issue

In Virtualization Manager 5.0, Hyper-V VMs are not included in the following trends:

  • Cluster VM IOPs Usage
  • Cluster VM Max IOPs Usage
  • Cluster VM Min IOPS Usage
  • EBS Monthly I/O Cost

Workaround

Modify the trends to use readIopsUtilization or writeIopsUtilization.

Note: You should make a backup or copy of any trend you modify so that you can use it to reapply the original criteria later.

To modify the trends:

  1. Navigate to Explore > Content.
  2. Search for the trend you want to change.
  3. Select the trend, and click Configure.
  4. Navigate to Criteria.
  5. Replace iopsUtilization with readIopsUtilization or writeIopsUtilization.
  6. Click Save or Save As.
  7. Update your dashboard to use the new trend, if necessary.
