Access Rights Manager 9.0 features

Permission analysis

Show a comprehensive overview of the access rights situation to resources in your organization.

New in 9.0:

  • Identify access rights to Microsoft Dynamics NAV resources, identify multiple access paths, and view a history of permission authorization.

Documentation and reporting

Record a wide range of events in the Logbook and product audit proof report.

New in 9.0:

  • Generate new reports to show where a user or group has access.

Security monitoring

Monitor security relevant activities in Active Directory and on your file servers.

New in 9.0:

  • Set and manage alerts to file activity: file server directories, suspected data theft, data deletion, and suspected ransomware.
  • Run scripts after alerts trigger.
  • Monitor Exchange activities: monitor activities on mailboxes, calendars, and contacts.

Role and process optimization

Shorten your access rights management processes and only involve the most important actors.

New in 9.0:

  • Order script-based services in the GrantMA self-service portal.
  • Configure a script-based service for ordering (Administrator).
  • Recertification: Prior to version 9.0, recertification was enabled globally for resources that met certain conditions. Starting with version 9.0, in the DataOwner configuration, you now separately set whether a resource needs to be recertified.

User provisioning

Regulate the creation of new user accounts, the administration of rights, and the editing of account details.

New in 9.0:

  • Define, apply, and check the compliance of user profiles.
  • Edit computer accounts.
  • Delete computer accounts.

New Feature: User Cockpits

Access Rights Management is not just an issue for administrators. To efficiently secure resources in the corporate network, security expertise must be decentralized. ARM 9.0 introduces 4 new individual cockpits so that each type of user has quick and streamlined access only to what they need: Manager, Administrator, Help Desk, and Employee.
