Unexpected Website Error
The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.

On the OrionWeb.log, you will find the error below:

Cause

Forms Authentication is disabled on the Orion website.

Resolution

  1. On the Orion server, access the IIS Manager > click the Orion website (SolarWinds NetPerfMon) on the Connections pane.
  2. On the Features view, double-click Authentication.
  3. Click Forms Authentication and click Enable on the Actions pane.
  4. Restart IIS via command prompt or IIS Manager.
  5. Restart all Orion services via Orion Service Manager.
