Cause

The Web Console automatically adds an empty or false 'Group results by:' or 'Sort results by:' options the next time the user clicks the mouse anywhere. This occurs when adding columns to a web-based report and the user clicks Submit before removing the empty or false box.

Resolution

  1. On the Orion Web Console, go to Reports > Manage Reports.
  2. In the Group by menu, select Report Origin > Web-based.
  3. Select the report and click Edit Report.
  4. After the 'Group results by:' or 'Sort results by:' options are displayed, click on any empty space. The empty/false box should appear.
  5. Delete the empty/false box.
  6. Click Submit.
