There are currently several options for integrating Cirrus and Orion.
To view Cirrus configs from the Orion website:
You can download files and instructions to enable this feature from ftp://ftp.solarwinds.net/cmb03/cirrus/ConfigListing.zip. This is also available from the Cirrus section under Additional Components within the Customer Area.
To view Cirrus reports from the Orion website:
You can download files and instructions to enable this feature from ftp://ftp.solarwinds.net/cmb03/cirrus/Cirrus-Reports-View.zip. This is also available from the Cirrus section under Additional Components within the Customer Area.
To receive alert notifications within Cirrus anytime a configuration changes:
You can set up the Orion Syslog Server or Orion Trap Receiver to notify Cirrus when a configuration changes. Steps for enabling this feature are available within the Cirrus Admin Guide at http://www.solarwinds.net/support/documentation.aspx.
This article refers only to Cirrus 4.5 and earlier. The updated Orion NCM 5 and later product provides an easily installed, separate integration package you install on your Orion NPM server. |
