Question:

Why do I not see any icons or interface type descriptions when running the Network Discovery tool?

Resolution:

This issue is present in the Orion Version 7.2.2 release. To resolve the issue, simply move the ..\Program Files\SolarWinds\Network Performance Monitor V7\Discovery.cfg file to the ..\Program Files\SolarWinds\Common folder.
