How do I monitor CPU and memory on a Unix or Unix-like device?

Resolution:

Your Unix or Unix-like device must be configured to support the Net-SNMP (formerly UCD-SNMP) MIB that Orion Network Performance Monitor uses to gather CPU and memory information.

To obtain Net-SNMP support for your device, contact your device manufacturer or distributor.

Third-party support for Net-SNMP can be obtained from the Net-SNMP package (http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/).
